Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for the release of Deva in which he will be seen playing the role of a cop. The trailer and the songs of the movie have created a good pre-release buzz, and Shahid’s fans are super excited to watch him in the massy avatar. The actor is currently busy with the promotions of the movie, and recently, he did a podcast with Raj Shamani.
In the podcast, he has spoken up about many things, but netizens are mainly taking about a particular statement that he has said. A short clip of Shahid from the interview has gone viral in which he says, “Kabir Singh ke pehle hua tha mere saath. Mujhe aise feel hua tha, main specifics mein nahi ghusunga ke I am lesser, mujhe aisa mehsoos karaya gaya; sabarjasti nahi kiya kisine. (Before Kabir Singh, it happened with me. I won’t go into specifics but I was made to feel like I am lesser. No one did it forcefully).”
When Raj asked lesser in what, the actor said, “As an artist, as a star, as an individual. Mujhe aise situation mein dala gaya ke mujhe yeh feel jo ke main kam ho aur yeh main kabhi accept nahi karunga. (I was put in a situation like this that I start feeling that I am lesser, and I will never accept that).”
While Shahid has not taken anyone’s name, netizens are claiming that he is talking about his Padmaavat co-stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
