Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) has announced that the Hyundai Creta was the highest-selling car in India for March 2025, with 18,059 units sold. This milestone reinforces the SUV’s strong demand among buyers and highlights Hyundai’s continued dominance in the segment. The Creta’s consistent performance in the market has contributed to Hyundai’s overall growth.

The Hyundai Creta continued its dominance in the SUV segment, leading sales in the January–March 2025 quarter with 52,898 units sold. It also secured its place among the top three best-selling passenger vehicles in India for FY 2024-25, achieving a record-breaking annual sales figure of 1,94,871 units. This marks a significant 20% year-on-year growth, making it the highest-ever sales performance for the Creta since its launch.

In 2025, the Hyundai Creta marks a decade since its launch, since debuting in 2015, the Creta has gained widespread popularity, with over 1.2 million units sold.

In FY 2024-25, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) reported total sales of 7,62,052 units, with 5,98,666 units sold in the domestic market and 1,63,386 units exported. In March 2025, the company recorded 67,320 units in total sales, including 51,820 units in India and 15,500 units shipped overseas. This reflects a 2.6% growth compared to the same period last year, highlighting Hyundai’s steady expansion in both domestic and international markets.
