Morena (Madhya Pradesh): An 11-year-old boy, injured by a hyena, died in the hospital on Friday night. The hyena also attacked his sister and uncle who are battling for life in a hospital in Gwalior. According to reports, the incident occurred in Majratola Bated village in Bamsoli Panchayat under Rampur police station a couple of days ago.

According to reports, the family of BhogiramKushwana and Kalla Kushwaha live in makeshift houses in their farmland. On Friday, a hyena entered the house of the Kushwahas.

The incident occurred when five-year-old Prachna Kushwaha and her 11-year-old brother Shivam Kushwaha were playing in the house. The hyena attacked both the children. On hearing their yells, their uncle BhogiramKushwana came to their rescue.

The hyena then attacked Bhogiram. When the animal saw other villagers, it ran away. On getting information, the police rushed to the spot and sent the injured to Sabalgarh hospital. But as the conditions of the injured were deteriorating, they were sent to the Gwalior hospital where Shubham died.

The body has been handed over to the family members after the postmortem. When the hyena strayed into the village, the residents shooed it away to the forest.

After a while, it returned and attacked some villagers who again drove it away. When the scared villagers went to the forest to see the hyena, they found it lying dead in a farmland. The residents of the village informed the policeand the officials of the forest department were informed about the incident.
