If you are in a government or private job, Provident Fund (PF) is deducted from your salary every month. Tracking the amount related to PF can sometimes be difficult. In this article, we will tell you how you can find out the total balance in your PF account, especially if you have been working for 3 years or more.
How much PF will be accumulated in 3 years?
PF amount depends on your salary and company policy.
- In some companies, deductions are made only on behalf of the employee.
- In many places the company also adds the same amount.
Example:
If every month in your PF account:
- ₹1800 employee contribution and
- ₹1800 is company contribution.
So a total of ₹ 3600 per month is being deposited in your PF account.
- Total balance of 12 months = ₹3600 × 12 = ₹43,200
- 3 years balance = ₹43,200 × 3 = ₹1,29,600
This figure gives you a rough idea. Actual balance may vary slightly depending on interest and other factors.
