Holographic Darshan Of Mahakal, Food Court: How State Pavilion Is Drawing Crowds In Delhi | FPJ
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): With its unique blend of culture, cuisine and spiritualism, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Pavilion is drawing huge crowds at the three-day ‘Vikramotsav 2025’ currently being held at the Madhavdas Park near the Red Fort in New Delhi. The event began on April 12.
Among hot favourites is a holographic presentation of Shri Mahakal, offering devotees a virtual spiritual experience. Complementing this are immersive exhibits and detailed information on the state’s key tourism destinations — from architectural marvels and wildlife sanctuaries to heritage cities and spiritual circuits.
Adding a flavourful dimension to the pavilion is the food court, which is bustling with food connoisseurs eager to taste the authentic flavours of the state.
Visitors are relishing Indore’s iconic poha-jalebi, makki ka kees, Malwa kachori, Dindori’s urad dal with kodo rice, and kodo millet pudding. Traditional delicacies such as Baghelkhand’snimona-puri, Bedai puri with hing aloo, and refreshing beverages such as Bundelkhandi sannatachhachh, Malwa’s lemon-mint shikanji, aam panna, sabjashikanji, rose-milk lassi, and mawabati have become instanthits.
Traditional crafts and arts of the state have also been crowd favourites. Theatre lovers also enjoyed the second show of the historic play ‘Samrat Vikramaditya Mahanatya’ .
