Rajgarh: A unique wedding was witnessed on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya in Biaora town of Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh. Despite the bride’s health deteriorating just before her special day, the family did not let the auspicious moment go in vain and turned the hospital into a wedding venue.

Aditya Singh and Nandini’s wedding was slated for Akshay Tritiya. However, five days before the wedding, on April 24, Nandini’s health suddenly deteriorated. She was admitted to Punjabi Nursing Home in Beawar, where doctors advised her to take more rest.

In such a situation, the family was dejected as Akshaya Tritiya is said to be one of the most auspicious day as per Hindu traditions. Doctor said that Nandini could not sit for long hours, so the groom’s family took advice from Nandini and her family and decided to get the couple married in the hospital itself.

On the wedding day, Singh reached the Nursing Home directly with the band and wedding procession. A small mandap was set-up in the hospital itself, the rituals were completed and the most special moment came when the groom took the bride in his arms and took seven circumambulations, which signifies seven promises. People at the spot can be heard singing a song in the background. Even while the groom ties the Mangalsutra, a woman was giving support to the bride as she was unable to stand. A video of the wedding has gone viral on social media.

According to India TV, the groom’s mother, Mamta, said that if the wedding had not taken place on Wednesday, there would have been no auspicious time for marriage for two years.
