What are the characteristics of Honda CB650R e-clutch?

Actually, this bike is not new to Indians, it is already being sold in India. However, now this bike is being launched with a new technology i.e. e-clutch feature. The company has been working on this technology for a long time and a bike with this technology was launched globally a few months ago.

This bike is very expensive in terms of price. Because its base price is Rs 9.20 lakhs and with e-clutch technology, the price of the bike is expected to increase from 30,000 to 40,000 rupees.

What is e-clutch technology?

The e-clutch technique given in this Honda bike is very different, and it uses an automated clutch system. This will make the clutchless gear shifting possible on the bike, which will completely change your way to ride the bike. Although this IMT system does not have a clutch, it still has a manual gearbox facility. An intelligent Internation sensor on gear lever is used to activate and inactive the clutch. So keep in mind that the clutch appearing on this bike is just for showing.

Both standard Honda CB 650R and E-Clutch version are both operated by liquid-cooled 649 cc inline four-cylinder engine. Which generates 65 hp of power and 63 newton meter torque at 9500 rpm. Since the engine of the bike is connected to the 6-speed transmission gearbox, the only difference between the two models of this bike will be of driving style.
