Diarrhea, which we call diarrhea, is a common but disturbing problem. Suddenly the need to defecate repeatedly is felt, due to which water and salts are removed from the body. The main reasons for this are water scarcity, food poisoning, contaminated water, poor food or viral infections. Home and natural remedies can be more secure and effective than drugs, especially for mild symptoms.

1. Banana and Curd

Banana is abundant fiber and helps in digestion. Mixing one teaspoon of sugar and some curd in a ripe banana stops diarrhea immediately.

By frying cumin seeds lightly, boiling in water, drinking warm-hot, digestion improves and reduces diarrhea.

3. Rice porridge

Rice water i.e. water made by boiling rice is very useful for diarrhea. It cools the stomach and makes the digestive system strong.

4. ORS (ORS)

Diarrhea reduces the amount of water in the body. The reason for taking ORS (oral rehydration solution) is to balance the electrolyte levels in the body.

5. Cinnamon and Honey

Taking a mixture of cinnamon powder and honey reduces food poisoning and swelling. This calms the digestive system.

6. Bill (Bell) Fruit Group

In Ayurveda, capsicum is considered good for digestion. Diarrhea is reduced by drinking vine fruit juice or vine syrup.

7. Take a dry and light diet.

Avoid fried and spicy food during diarrhea and eat light food like khichdi, soft rice, toast, soup etc.

8. Maintain hygiene.

Coconut water, buttermilk, fruit juice and hot water should be consumed to maintain water level in the body.
