Throw old and torn shoes and slippers.
If you have long or torn shoes and slippers in your house, throw them out immediately. According to Vastu Shastra, these things bring poverty in the house and have an inauspicious effect of Shani Dev. This can increase the financial crisis and mental stress in the family.
Dried basil plants
The basil plant brings happiness, prosperity and peace in the house, but if it dries, it is considered inauspicious to keep it in the house. According to Vastu, dried basil plants increase negative energy. Therefore, before Holi, it should be removed and a new plant should be planted.
Remove old clothes and paint too.
It is considered auspicious to donate old clothes in the house to the needy before Holi. This keeps the house in the house. Also, avoid using old colors, as they can cause skin allergies.
Remove broken glass and scattered photos
If there is a broken glass anywhere in the house, remove it immediately. According to Vastu, a broken mirror brings negative energy to the house and family members may face failures.
