Guna (Madhya Pradesh): On Akshay Tritiya, Lyness Club Guna took out a procession and served buttermilk to people. Club members, president Seema Paliya, secretary Jyoti Mittal and others participated.

Kasrawad (Madhya Pradesh): A mass wedding of the Kewat community was held in village Lepa under the Maa Rewa Kripa Samuhik Vivah Samiti on Akshay Tritiya. 20 couples were married under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana.

Pansemal (Madhya Pradesh): Akshaya Tritiya was celebrated in Pansemal and nearby areas. Locals purchased fruits and puja items, and Brahmin community celebrated Parshuram Jayanti. The Maharashtrian Khandeshi community performed the ritual of ‘Dedga’ to honour deceased family members.

Alot (Madhya Pradesh): On Akshay Tritiya, construction of Anadi Kalpeshwar Mahadev Temple’s crown began with blessings from saints Balram Das and Ram Maharaj. Devotees performed rituals and the contractor was honoured. The 51-foot crown (Shikhar) is being built with public donations.

Khargone (Madhya Pradesh): Mass weddings were held in district under Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana. MLA Balkrishna Patidar attended ceremonies in Son Talav and Mehrja villages. Each couple received a Rs 49,000 cheque. Municipal council president Chhaya Joshi and other officials were present.

On Akshay Tritiya, Brahmin community members dressed in traditional attire and carried the four Vedas during a morning Sankirtan procession, chanting ‘Japore Japore Parshuram Japore’ through the town’s main streets.

On Akshaya Tritiya and Parshuram Jayanti, Brahmin couples performed Rudrabhishek at Dhareshwar Temple. Devotees also held aarti and chanting of mantras at Vasant Vihar’s Parshuram Temple.

On Akshaya Tritiya, under the CM Kanya Vivah Yojana, 14 girls from Garoth Janpad were married with Vedic rituals. Each couple received Rs 51,000, including Rs 2,000 from MLA Chandar Singh Sisodia.
