San Francisco: Hindu Americans have launched a massive awareness campaign in Silicon Valley against the persistent anti-Hindu violence in Bangladesh. This campaign has been named “Yunus Se Ask Why”. Under this, huge hoardings and billboards have been installed in California, through which discussion on this serious issue is being promoted.
Disseminating messages through digital hoardings
As part of the campaign, the United Hindu Council put up the first billboard before Christmas at a prominent location at 880-N and Market Street in Oakland.
- Over the next three months, digital hoardings will be installed at six key locations.
- These hoardings will be installed in dense traffic areas and major bridges.
- It aims to raise awareness and encourage discussion on the violence against Hindu and minority communities in Bangladesh.
Questions on Mohammad Yunus in the statement
According to the United Hindu Council statement:
- The violence against Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh during the rule of Mohammad Yunus is extremely regrettable.
- Yunus has been urged to include all Bangladeshis equally under his rule and stop oppression of minorities on the basis of religion.

The Council urges local, state, and national leaders in the US to:
