Himachal Pradesh Board Exam 2025: The annual Board Examinations 2025 have been postponed till March 8, 2025, by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) in the snow-stricken districts of Chamba and Lahaul-Spiti. Candidates can check the notification at hpbose.org.
According to the notification, because of excessive rains and snowfall in Pangi of Chamba district and Lahaul-Spiti district, the roads have suffered massive damage. Keeping in view, the health of the students, the Board has decided to reschedule the examination dates in these districts.
The new dates will be announced soon by the HPBOSE. Students are advised to keep checking the official website for the latest updates. However, the board examinations will proceed as scheduled in the rest of the state.

This year, around 1.95 lakh students are set to take the Class 10 and 12 board exams in 2,300 exam centres.
Himachal Pradesh Weather Update
The Local Meteorological Station has issued an orange alert for heavy rain, snow, thunderstorms, and lightning at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. The alert comes after a dry period in the state and a steep rise in maximum temperatures on Sunday. The orange alert has been issued for Chamba, Kangra, and Lahaul-Spiti districts, as per the MeT station, because of the combined impact of heavy snowfall and rain on February 26, 27, and 28.
The current temperature of Himachal Pradesh on March 4, 2025, is 11.78 °C. The minimum and maximum temperature forecast for the day is 6.77 °C and 14.37 °C, respectively. The relative humidity is 71 per cent and the wind speed is 71 km/h.
