After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, now the security agencies in Uttar Pradesh have become completely alert. UP DGP Prashant Kumar has directed the entire police department to remain on alert. He fears that some mischievous elements may try to spoil the atmosphere of UP under the guise of Pahalgam incident.
In view of this, vigilance has been increased in the entire Uttar Pradesh including the districts bordering the Nepal border. DGP Prashant Kumar has given strict instructions to make security arrangements. Additional contingents of police and PAC have been deployed especially in sensitive areas. Checking of trains on boundaries has been intensified.
Special eye on Nepal border and sensitive areas
