Ranchi, 27 November (Hindu). After victory in the Jharkhand Assembly elections, Hemant Soren will take oath as Chief Minister for the fourth time on Thursday. All preparations have been completed to make the swearing-in ceremony grand. The swearing-in ceremony has been org.zed on November 28 at 4 pm at Morhabadi Ground in Ranchi. Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar will administer the oath.
Many big national leaders will participate in this function. These include Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav, NCP Party President Sharad Pawar, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Kongkal Sangma, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Himachal Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray, former Chief Minister of UP Akhilesh Yadav, former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi M.sh Sisodia, former Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka DK Shivakumar, Apart from former Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Uday Stalin, former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti, General Secretary of MAS Dipankar Bhattacharya, Naveen Patnaik, Kapil Sibal and many other names are included.
Hoardings are being put up at various places regarding the swearing-in ceremony. There is tremendous enthusiasm among JMM and Congress leaders. Special preparations have been made to make the oath taking ceremony grand and for the visiting VIP guests. A special carcade has been prepared for all the VIP guests, through which the VIP guests will be brought safely to the venue. Complete preparations have been made to ensure that the VIPs get all the facilities on time as per the protocol. Elaborate preparations have been made to welcome the state guests, their stay, their journey to the venue till their farewell.
More than 500 vehicles have been kept ready for VIP guests in Ranchi Police Lines. Special security arrangements have been made at all the identified government guest houses and other places where the leaders stay. Complete preparations have been made to take care of their convenience till their arrival in Ranchi and their return from here. At the same time, to ensure that the guests coming from South India do not face linguistic problems, English speaking and understanding officers have been entrusted with the responsibility. Police personnel were also briefed by senior officers on Wednesday regarding VIP movement. Instructions have been issued to make comprehensive security arrangements from the place where the guests will be accommodated to the venue of the ceremony and the farewell venue. Before the ceremony, the police will make arrangements by conducting a dry run from the residence of the guests to the venue of the ceremony.
Instructions have also been given to keep a cardiac ambulance in the carcade of very special guests. Besides, arrangements have also been made for help desk at the airport, control room at the venue, arrangements for fire fighting vehicles, drinking water and toilets. A separate traffic plan has also been made so that no one faces any problem in commuting to the venue before and after the ceremony.
Tight security arrangements have been made at the swearing-in ceremony site and at the guest accommodation and on the roads. For security, five SPs, 30 DSPs, 65 inspectors, 350 officers from ASI to Inspector and about four thousand soldiers have been deployed. Apart from this, apart from STF and ATS teams, four RAP teams have also been deployed while 100 trained traffic policemen have also been deployed for smooth traffic arrangements.
