The doors of Kedarnath temple will open on 2 May 2025 at 7 am. In such a situation, the helicopter service from Guptkashi, Sirsi and Phata to Kedarnath Dham will also start from this day. IRCTC will open a portal for online booking of helicopter tickets on 8 April. UCADA has sent the data of travel registration to IRCTC. Travel registration is mandatory for booking helicopter tickets.
5% increase in fare
Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority and IRCTC have completed their preparations. IRCTC will soon release a website link for booking. According to the information received, this time the Kedarnath Haley Seva will be operated by Pawan Hans, Himalayan Haley, Trans India, Global Victra, Thumb Aviation, Castral Aviation, Air Aircraft. Apart from this, according to a three -year agreement with helicopter companies, this time the fare has been increased by five percent.

Till Wednesday, 372169 pilgrims have registered online to visit Kedarnath Dham. This time too, a record number of devotees are expected to visit Kedarnath Dham. The total number of pilgrims visiting Kedarnath Dham in the year 2024 was 16,52,076. Whereas in the year 2023, 1957850 pilgrims will be able to see Baba Kedar. District Tourism Officer Rahul Choubey informed that online registration system has been started for Chardham Yatra, while offline registration facility will also be available after the start of the journey. For this, registration centers have been established in Rishikesh and Sonprayag.
