Mumbai – The murder of a monk has been stirred up in Trimbakeshwar, the famous pilgrimage site in Nashik district. In this incident, a monk was attacked in a fatal attack, in which 52 -year -old monk died on the spot. There has been a huge uproar due to this incident.

The Trimbakeshwar police have registered a case of accidentally death and are further investigating the incident. However, after this incident, the Akhara Mahant has become aggressive and the Akhara Parishad has handed over the CCTV footage of the incident to the police and asked to investigate the case. It is being told that the accused got intoxicated and attacked the monk.

According to further information in this regard, a large number of devotees come to visit Trimbakeshwar, the famous pilgrimage site of Nashik, where one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, and the next Simhastha Kumbh Mela is also going to be held here after two years. Meanwhile, a person here attacked a monk. In which a monk named Prabhakar Ghot (52) died on the spot. This monk was again living his life by begging in Trimbakeshwar region.

Meanwhile, Trimbakeshwar police have registered a case of accidental death and are further investigating. According to police sources, no marks of assault were found on Ghot’s body. This incident is reported to be on 19 April. The reason for the death of Sadhu Ghot is not known.

Sources said that Ghot died of assault or for any other reason, it will be detected only after the post -mortem report.

Meanwhile, the Akhara Parishad has demanded further investigation into the case and alleged that Ghot died due to an unknown addict attack. Along with this, the Akhara Parishad and saints have also demanded a ban on liquor in Trimbakeshwar in the backdrop of this incident.
