Since the first week of April, the heat has started showing its intense form. Temperatures are increasing rapidly in many areas of North India. In North and Western India including Delhi, the heat is going to start today i.e. from April 7. The Meteorological Department has issued a Yellow heat alert for the next 3 days.

 

There will be scorching heat in these states

The Meteorological Department has issued alert of heat stroke in many areas from today. The state of Gujarat will have hot winds at some places till April 10, while on April 6 and 7, there will be intense hot winds at some places in Saurashtra and Kutch. Rajasthan is expected to run hot winds till April 10, while there is a possibility of scorching heat in some places from 7 to 9 April.

Summer alert in Delhi too

Today, warnings have been issued in various parts of Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Chandigarh from 10th, from 7 to 10th in Punjab and on 7th and 8th in Delhi. Hot winds are expected to blow in western Uttar Pradesh from 7 to 9 April and from 8 to 10 April. Apart from this, there is a possibility of hot and humid weather in the coastal areas of Gujarat state and Konkan and Goa during 6-9 April.

Possibility of rain in these areas

According to the weather forecast agency Skymet, today there is a possibility of light to moderate rains and thunderstorms in Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Light to moderate rains may also occur in Northeast India. On April 8, heavy rains are also expected in Assam, Meghalaya and parts of Bihar. Temperatures may gradually increase in north-west India, Central India and many parts of eastern India.
