Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The heat in the state is rising. On Tuesday, Ratlam recorded 40°C for the first time this season. Meanwhile, Dhar and Shivpuri crossed 39°C. Other cities like Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Ujjain, and Jabalpur also experienced strong sunlight.
According to the weather department, the next two days will be very hot, but after that, the temperature may drop by 1 to 2 degrees.

Summer usually starts in March, and the next four months will be very hot. The weather department has predicted 15-20 days of heatwave from March to May. April and May will be the hottest months, with 30-35 days of hot winds.
Last week, many districts saw rain and hail for five days. However, since Monday, the weather has changed, and the heat has started increasing. The temperature in all cities has risen by 3 to 5 degrees. On Tuesday, Ratlam saw a rise of 4.8 degrees above normal, reaching 40°C.

Night temperatures have also increased in many places.
Heatwave alert in Malwa-Nimar region
The Malwa-Nimar region, which includes cities like Indore, Ujjain, Ratlam, Dhar, Khargone, and Khandwa, may experience heatwave conditions in the next two days.
According to the weather department, a heatwave is declared when the temperature crosses 40°C or is 4.6°C above normal.
