London: Heathro Airport in London had to shut down on Friday. The electrical substation from where electricity is delivered to the airport. The transformer on that substation suddenly burst and the oil that kept it cool caught fire. Along with this, due to the power failure at the airport, the airport had to be closed and 150 passengers inside were taken out of the airport.

Ten fire personnel were called from London to extinguish the fire, but when the fire could not be controlled, fire personnel from the surrounding area also had to be called, causing the total number of firefighters to 70. 10 fire engines were also activated.

This fire supplies electricity from that substation. Electricity supply of many houses and shops also came to a standstill. Assistant Commissioner Pat Golbourne told reporters.

The footage of the fire incident was broadcast on social media.

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks said on their website that about 16,300 houses do not have electricity. Emergency services were immediately operational. But the real cause of the fire is not clear. The fire transformer was caused by bursting, but it is not known why the transformer exploded. Therefore, the exact cause of the fire has not been known.
