Prayagraj, 28 November (HS). The next hearing of the bail application of Abbas Ansari in the Gangster Act case registered in Chitrakoot, Karvi will be held on December 11.
Justice Samit Gopal of Allahabad High Court is hearing the application. On behalf of the petitioner, it was told in the court that senior advocate Kapil Sibal will join and argue through video conferencing. But his junior lawyer said that Sibal is busy in other matters. The hearing should be adjourned.
The court cited the order of the Supreme Court and said that the application has been filed late by 18 days and the hearing is being postponed on the request of the petitioner advocate. The Supreme Court has directed to decide the application within four weeks. On which hearing is going on.
