Our liver is the detox powerhouse of the body. It filters whatever we eat and drink. Therefore, when you take excessive amounts of some beneficial supplements, they start damaging parts of the body. Green tea: Green tea is also very beneficial for health. The catachin present in it can cause liver toxicity by taking high amounts. Since it is herbal, it should not be taken in excess.

Iron complement: Excess iron in the body can accumulate in the liver and can be toxic. Therefore, it should not be taken in excess. Be sure to get a blood test done on the advice of a doctor before taking it.

Excessive intake of aloe vera: Aloe vera is healthy, but its intake, especially in excess or in the form of whole leaf extract, can cause problems. Some compounds present in Aloe may be toxic to the liver. Studies on animals have also revealed its relationship with cancer. Therefore, consume it in limited quantity.
