In the terrorist attack on Tuesday, Kaustubh Ganbote and his friend Santosh Jagdale were shot dead. Both his wives and Santosh’s daughter Asavari survived, but both families were deeply shocked by the attack.
Kaustubh had never taken such a long holiday in his life.
Kaustubh’s childhood friend Sunil More told that Kaustubh had never taken such a long holiday in his life. Eight days ago he told me that he was going to Kashmir, he was very excited. This was the first time he was going out of the city with his wife.
Kaustubh, who lives in the narrow streets near the road, recently shifted to a new house on Kondhwa-Saswad Road, where he also had a factory. He became a grandfather recently.

Sunil More said that he was seriously injured in a tempo accident twenty years ago. He was saying that I had got another life, but the terrorists snatched it too.
The bodies of both were brought to Pune Airport.
Interior designer Santosh Jagdale, by profession, was not only a friend of Kaustubh, but he also helped in marketing his business. Music lover Santosh also played harmonium. The body of the two was brought to Pune Airport at around 5.30 am on Thursday, where Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Muralidhar Mohol was also present. The bodies were kept on their homes for the last darshan, after which they were cremated at Vaikuntha crematorium at 9 am.
