An inquiry report dated May 16, 2025 was submitted in HC in a sealed cover and on direction of this Court, the same is opened. As per HC order, the court finds that its order has not been completed in toto.

HC had directed principal secretary, higher education, to decide on the formation of a new committee to probe the complaint of sexual harassment at workplace against Rani Durgavati Vishwa Vidyalaya’s (RDVV) vice-chancellor.
A woman officer of RDVV had moved the High Court seeking its intervention for a probe against vice chancellor of RDVV into complaint of sexual harassment lodged by her in November 2024.’
Advocate Vishal Baghel, who appeared on behalf of the petitioner said, ‘As the report is silent about the same, the HC directed Jabalpur Collector to file an affidavit along with documents/statements of witnesses recorded by the committee on the dates of their visit to RDVV, Jabalpur. The Collector has to examine all materials which have been collected by the committee and then file an affidavit to show complete compliance with the order.’
