Prithvi’s brilliant performance in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy
Prithvi scored 197 runs in 9 matches for Mumbai in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Although he could not score any half-century, he tried to give a good start to Mumbai’s winning journey. After winning the title for Mumbai by defeating Madhya Pradesh, Shreyas said, ‘I personally think he is a God-given player. No one has talent like him. He just needs to improve his work ethic.
Cannot be taught like children – Iyer
Iyer further said, ‘We cannot teach anyone like children. He has played a lot of cricket. Everyone has given him inputs. Ultimately it is his decision how to move forward from this. He has done this before also. It’s not that he didn’t do it. He has to concentrate now. He has to think. He will get the answer himself. No one can force him.
Prithvi’s cricket career
Prithvi Shaw has played test for India. But he is out of the team since the year 2020-21. Recently, it remained unsold in the mega auction of IPL 2025. Before this, he had been a part of Delhi Capitals team in IPL.
