Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini presented his first budget on Monday, in which he made several big announcements. While presenting the budget for the first time as Chief Minister, he announced to create a new department – “Department of Future” (Future Department) in the state. This department will study new techniques, give information about their benefits and use and provide technical awareness to the general public.

Budget proposal of Rs 2.05 lakh crore
CM Saini proposed a budget of Rs 2.05 lakh crore for 2024-25, which is 13.70% more than the revised estimate of the previous financial year. He gave priority to the farmer, women and technology sector in the budget.
Interest-free loan for women farmers
The budget plans to give interest-free loans up to Rs 1 lakh to women farmers working in areas like dairy, horticulture, animal husbandry and fisheries, which will promote women entrepreneurship.
Drug smuggling will be controlled, new authority will be made
Chief Minister Saini announced the formation of a new authority against drug smuggling, which will take strict action on drug trafficking in the state. He said that 11,000 suggestions were received from the general public in preparing the budget, which ensured public participation.
Emphasis on election resolutions
While presenting the budget, Saini said that the party had made a total of 219 promises in the election resolution letter, out of which 19 have already been fulfilled. He assured that the remaining promises will also be fulfilled on priority.
New schemes for the development of Haryana
A new flower market will be set up in Gurugram, which will provide a big market to flower growers.
Air cargo facility will be created at Hisar Airport, which will facilitate the transport of horticulture products.
“Cow Sanctuary” (Gaushala) will be established in every district so that the neglected cow dynasty is safe and the crops of farmers do not suffer damage.
Artificial Intelligence Mission formed
CM Saini said that “Artificial Intelligence Mission” will be formed in Haryana, which will start with the help of World Bank. For this, the World Bank will provide assistance of Rs 474 crore. The purpose of this mission is to promote Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education, industry and administration.

His wife Suman Saini also reached the assembly to see the first budget of the Chief Minister. Apart from this, state president Mohan Lal Baroli and other leaders were also present in the visitor gallery.
First budget, new responsibility
Significantly, Naib Singh Saini got the post of Chief Minister last year, when Manohar Lal Khattar had to leave power. After this, he won the election and became the Chief Minister again, and now he got an opportunity to present the budget for the first time.
