Kolkata Knight Riders’ pacer Harshit Rana let out a roar after taking a sensational catch to get rid of Travis Head in the IPL 2025 game against the SunRisers Hyderabad on Thursday at the Eden Gardens. The right-arm speedster took a fantastic overhead tumbling catch as the defending champions got the massive wicket.

The incident occurred in the very first over of the innings Head went hard at the full-length delivery outside off-stump. However, he had miscued it and Rana held his eyes on the ball despite it seemingly going away from him consistently. Head started his innings with a boundary but failed to get going.

Kolkata Knight Riders score 200/6 after half-centuries from Venkatesh Iyer and Angkrish Raghuvanshi

Half-centuries from Venkatesh Iyer and Angkrish Raghuvanshi have lifted the Kolkata Knight Riders to an imposing 200/6 against the SunRisers Hyderabad at the Eden Gardens on Thursday. Venkatesh Iyer was particularly explosive at the death as the defending champions clobbered 78 runs off the last five overs.

SunRisers Hyderabad skipper Pat Cummins had won the toss at the Eden Gardens and opted to bowl first as the IPL 2024 finalists clash on Wednesday. The right-arm speedster reasoned that it looks like an excellent wicket to bat on and suggested that it’s unlikely to change too much in the second half.
