Mumbaikars welcomes the New Year
Mumbai, renowned for its vibrant nightlife, turns up the excitement to another level on New Year’s Eve. Large gatherings can be seen in notable areas across the city, including Marine Drive, Gateway of India, Girgaon Chowpatty, Bandra Bandstand, and the beaches of Juhu and Versova, among others. To ensure safe and smooth celebrations, over 14,000 police personnel were deployed throughout the city.
Mumbaikars flocked to Juhu Chowpatty starting Tuesday evening to bid farewell to 2024 and welcome in 2025. Huge crowds gathered at various railway stations, including CSMT, Byculla, Dadar, Ghatkopar, Churchgate, Marine Drive, Charni Road, Mumbai Central, and Lower Parel.

On the first day of 2025, devotees visited the Shree Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai for the morning Aarti. Additionally, people attended a sermon and carol service at Mount Mary Church in Bandra Bandstand on New Year’s Eve 2025.
