Every year Hanuman birth anniversary is celebrated with reverence and enthusiasm on the auspicious day of Chaitra Shukla Purnima. It is believed that on this day, Pawanputra Hanuman ji was descended from the womb of Mata Anjani on earth. In the year 2025, this festival is being celebrated on 12 April, Saturday.

- After Abhishek, wipe the statue with a clean cloth.
- Prepare a mixture by mixing vermilion and ghee (or jasmine oil).
- Offer Chola to Hanuman ji with this mixture. Start off the climbing with the left leg.
- After this, offer silver or gold work.
- Wear Janeu to Hanuman ji and offer clean red clothes.
- Apply perfume and offer bhog, which includes boondi laddus, jaggery and gram.
- Finally perform Aarti and distribute the offerings.

Remember the name Ram while offering Chola
The most effective way to please Hanuman ji is the remembrance of Shri Ram. Chanting the following mantras while offering Chola is considered extremely fruitful:
“Shriram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram”
“Siya Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram”
Religious belief is that a person who regularly chants the name Ram, removes every obstacle of Hanuman himself. The name of Ram can be done anytime and anywhere, it does not require any particular place or time.
