Halloween 2023: The Halloween festival, also known as All Hallows’ Eve, commences this year on Tuesday. Each year, Halloween Day is joyfully celebrated on October 31st, the evening preceding All Saints’ (or All Hallows’) Day.
This festivity serves as the prelude to the Western Christian observance of All Saints and inaugurates the three-day period known as All Hallowtide, culminating with All Souls’ Day.

In much of Europe and across most of North America, Halloween is predominantly a secular celebration. In contemporary times, Halloween Day is all about people dressing up and visiting homes for the fun tradition of trick-or-treating.
Throughout the United States and Europe, people engage in a variety of Halloween festivities, including hosting Halloween-themed parties, watching horror movies, and participating in Halloween-themed games. Interestingly, some individuals in India also partake in Halloween celebrations with their friends and families.
ASHI SINGH ON HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION
TV star Ashi Singh, who is currently seen essaying the lead role of Sumeet in the popular ZEE TV show Meet, also recalled Halloween memories and how she celebrates it with friends in spooky costumes. Talking about the same, the talented actress stated, “Halloween is one of the most exciting times of the year as it is a chance to embrace our love for all things spooky and mysterious. I always look forward to this day because it is when dressing up in exaggerated costumes is not only acceptable but encouraged.
