Boston (United States), January 23: In a major operation targeting violent offenders in sanctuary cities, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in Boston arrested a Haitian gang member with 18 prior convictions. A video has surfaced on social media in which the Haiti man during his arrest, shouted, “F*ck Trump, Biden forever!” while resisting deportation, insisting he would not return to Haiti. It can also be seen in the video that the arrested man is shouting, “I’m not going back to Haiti.”

The arrest is part of a larger operation targeting the “worst of the worst” criminal illegal immigrants after Donald Trump took office for the second time as the 47th President of the United States.

As reported by journalist Bill Melugin from Fox News, the raid took place in the early hours of a freezing morning, with temperatures dropping to five degrees. The ICE officers, described as an elite team, were briefed on their specific targets before carrying out the operation.

‘This Is Only The Beginning’

Border Czar Tom Homan commented on the situation, stating that this is only the beginning of a broader effort to deport individuals who pose significant threats. The incident has drawn attention due to the man’s controversial remarks and its political implications.

Part Of Larger Operation

As per reports, the Boston raid was part of a larger operation targeting criminal illegal immigrants, including MS-13 gang members and suspects involved in murder and rape. Notable arrests included individuals who had been released by local authorities despite ICE detainers. One arrest even drew gratitude from a bystander, with a woman shouting “thank you!” to ICE officers.

Collateral Arrests

Border Czar Tom Homan highlighted that collateral arrests — where individuals not initially targeted are detained — are likely to increase, especially in sanctuary cities. “When we find the bad guy, there are usually others who are in the U.S. illegally,” he said.

Crackdown On Illegal Immigrants

This operation aligns with the Trump administration’s intensified efforts to deport approximately 7,00,000 illegal migrants with criminal records. The administration’s focus marks a stark contrast to previous policies, as federal officials ramp up enforcement and tighten border security measures.

Detailed Target Sheet

The recent raids are just the beginning, with ICE officers working from a detailed “target sheet” of individuals with criminal records. The administration has also taken additional steps to seal off the southern border, blocking Border Patrol officers from releasing illegal migrants into the U.S. and preparing to deploy 10,000 troops to secure the border.

This renewed focus on immigration enforcement signals a significant shift in policy and a strong commitment to addressing illegal immigration in the country.
