Gwalior News: Gwalior police today busted a fake note making gang in Madhouganj police station area, police arrested two accused and recovered fake notes of Rs 100 and Rs 500 from their possession.

Police said that SP Amit Sanghi had received information from an informer that some people were printing fake notes and running them in the market in Krishna Colony located in Gudha under Madhaganj police station area. As soon as the information was received, the SP instructed Additional SP Crime Rajesh Dandotia to trace and arrest the accused. Additional SP Dandotia formed a joint team of Madhaganj Police Station and Crime Branch Police Station.
CSP Lashkar/DSP Crime Shiyaz KM said that the police raided Krishna Colony at the place mentioned by the informer and found two people with color printer, desk top, scanner and bond papers. On search, fake notes of Rs 100 and Rs 500 were found in the room. Police found 12 fake notes of Rs 500 and 11 fake notes of Rs 100. One of the arrested accused is a resident of Murar and Purani Chhawni area. The accused said that they used to make fake notes of three to four thousand rupees daily and cut them in the size of the real note and sell them in the market, the accused told that they used to sell Rs.100 notes in beedi cigarettes and fake notes of Rs. I used to run, the police is interrogating the accused.
