Bhind (Madhya Pradesh): A 35-year-old man shot the younger brother of her sister’s husband in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior on Monday. The accused was upset over his sister’s love marriage.
The victim, Harendra Parihar, was seriously injured and was referred to Gwalior for treatment.
According to information, the incident took place in the Bauhara village in the Roun police station area.
The accused, Nandu Kushwaha, fired two shots at Harendra, hitting him in the thigh and knee. Harendra was first taken to a nearby hospital, where his condition worsened, and he was then referred to Gwalior for further treatment.
What led to the firing?
Nandu Kushwaha, the accused, had been upset with Harendra for some time. His anger was because of his sister, Uma, and Harendra’s older brother, Chandresh Parihar, who had recently gotten married.
Two months ago, Uma and Chandresh had decided to get married in court, which made Nandu very unhappy.
This disagreement created a lot of tension between the two families, leading to regular fights. On Monday morning, as Harendra was on his way to the local shop, Nandu confronted him.
In a moment of anger, Nandu took out a gun and fired two shots at Harendra. One bullet hit Harendra in his thigh, and the other hit his knee. Harendra fell to the ground in pain and was quickly taken to a nearby hospital.
His condition became worse, so the doctors decided to send him to Gwalior for further treatment.
As soon as the news of the shooting reached the local police, Station House Officer Ashutosh Sharma and his team rushed to Bauhara village. The police began their investigation immediately, recording statements from witnesses and the injured victim.
They also began searching for Nandu, who had fled the scene after the incident.
