Nikhil Singh, of Gupta Sports Academy, took the men’s honours in the Cross Country Athletics Championships, organized jointly by Mumbai District Athletic Association and Poinsur Gymkhana on yesterday. The women’s honours went to Archana Jadhav, also of Gupta Sports Academy.
In fact athletes, both men’s women’s from dominated from Gupta Sports Academy, while most of the boys and girls’ in the under-20, under-18 and Under-16 from Rising Sports Club, Star Athletic United and hosts MSDAAA took the honours.
Winners in various age groups were:
Men: Nikhil Singh (Gupta Spt Academy). WOMEN: Archana Jadhav (GSA). BOYS ( U-20): Abhinav Jadhav (GSA). (U-18): Shani Yadav. (U-16): Aditya Yadav (MSDAAA).
Girls: (U-20): Shriya Nagarkatti (Star Ath United). (U-18): Veronica Bading (Rising SC). (U-16): Janavi Patil (Rising SC).
