Gunshots Fired During Dawat-e-Ramzan Expo Organized By Anam Mirza, Sister Of Ace Tennis Player Sania Mirza | X
Hyderabad: Tension gripped Hyderabad’s Gudimalkapur area on Saturday after gunshots were fired at at the Dawat E Ramzan Expo At King’s Palace, organized by ace Tennis player Sania Mirza’s sister Anam Mirza.
The incident occurred after a dispute between two shopkeepers escalated, leading one of them to fire shots into the air.
On receiving the information the police rushed to the spot. According to ACP Kulsumpura assistant commissioner of police (ACP) Mohd Munawar, a broke out between Farhan, who came to buy perfumes in the expo and the organisers.
“After a heated argument, Farhan and his friends attacked some people, including one Ateequddin. All of a sudden, he whipped out his licensed gun and fired two rounds in the air,” said the ACP.
None have been reported injured in the incident and the police has seized the weapon from Ateequddin. A case has been registered and the police will further investigate the matter.
