American hard rock band Guns N’ Roses is all set to set the stage on fire in Mumbai on May 17, 2025, at Mahalaxmi Race Course, marking their return to India after 12 years. The legendary band will perform as part of their Asia tour, promising iconic hits and an unforgettable live experience. The band, having already arrived in Mumbai, recently made a fan’s dream come true when lead guitarist Slash met a fan who had travelled all the way from Assam to attend their concert.
The 29-year-old fan, Zeet Bora, a digital marketer, arrived from Assam on the morning of May 15 and headed to Leopold Cafe in Mumbai, where he was stunned to find Slash sitting right next to him. Speaking to Mid-Day, Zeet said, “We actually landed in Mumbai this morning just for this concert. It was so random—I was having lunch with my friend at a café when Slash and his band members walked in. They sat at the table next to ours.”

Further, Zeet, who was with his friend Debobrat Buragohain, shared that he waited for an hour to take a photo with Slash. “He was so friendly, and I told him it felt like a dream to meet him in person,” added the 29-year-old.
Zeet shared that he didn’t want to disturb Slash during his private time, so he patiently waited until the guitarist was about to leave. That’s when he and his friends approached Slash for a picture and had a brief chat with him.
The members of Guns N’ Roses also include Axl Rose (vocals, piano), and Duff McKagan (bass).
The band will take the stage to perform some of their most iconic tracks, including Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child o’ Mine, November Rain, Shadow of Your Love, and Madagascar, among others.
