After the tremendous success of the inaugural season, Gujarat Titans is thrilled to announce the second season of ‘Junior Titans’. Junior Titans is a unique initiative dedicated to inculcating a passion for outdoor sports in children under 14 years of age. With the ethos of Let’s Sport Out, Junior Titans will reignite the thrill of outdoor activities for young children and create a unique experience for them by exposing them to different sports. Junior Titans programs will be organized in five important cities of Gujarat: Ahmedabad, Junagadh, Bhavnagar, Bharuch and Palanpur.
The top Spanish football league LALIGA continues its support for the second season of the event and will organize football workshops at these events. This season LALIGA’s expert technical coaches will provide young talents with the opportunity to learn from the best on the field. This collaboration will provide invaluable insight to the participating children and expand their sporting horizons.
The second season will also see Pokémon, one of Japan’s most popular brands, collaborate with Junior Titans. This will give kids a chance to meet their favorite Pokémon characters, participate in exciting activities at the venue, and take home cool merchandise.
In this edition, Bisleri will provide drinking water to children while SG will provide necessary sports equipment.
Starting with Junagadh on January 18, each city will host a one-day community sports event to celebrate the joys of outdoor sports and sportsmanship. These events will have various interesting activities including history of Gujarat Titans, cricket and football challenges and quizzes. Participating children will also receive attractive gifts and delicious food, which aims to promote community engagement and camaraderie.
25 schools will participate in this edition.
Around 25 schools from each city, including 10 private schools and 5 government schools, will participate in Junior Titans in this edition. Apart from the schools, 5 NGOs will also participate, ensuring a diverse and inclusive environment for all the young athletes. With around 900 participants expected in each city, the event promises to be a grand celebration of sport and community spirit.
