Gandhinagar: According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rain has been predicted in 4 districts of the state. Heavy rain is expected in Kutch, Jamnagar, Devbhoomi Dwarka and Porbandar. According to the forecast of rain by the Meteorological Department, a red alert has been given in Porbandar, Jamnagar, Kutch and Dwarka today. Orange alert has been given in Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Surat, Junagadh, Gir Somnath and Diu.

According to the Meteorological Department, yellow alert has been issued in Aravalli, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Kheda, Anand, Panchmahal, Vadodara, Bharuch, Navsari, Valsad and Tapi, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Amreli and Morbi.

Heavy to very heavy rain has been predicted in Gujarat by the Meteorological Department. There is a possibility of rain in Saurashtra-Kutch and North Gujarat. Due to strong winds and rough sea, fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea for the next 3 days.

Dr. Manorama Mohanty of the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in the state. He said that there is a possibility of rain in the entire state for two days. There may be very heavy rains in some parts of Gujarat.
