To be eligible in a subject, a candidate must receive a minimum grade of ‘D’. To be qualified for the Secondary Certificate, an applicant must receive a minimum grade of ‘D’ in all subjects. Applicants who received grades ‘E1’ or ‘E2’ in the subjects of the External Examination must improve their performance in subsequent attempts to be eligible. The passing requirement for differently abled candidates is 20%.
