Elon Musk’s AI company XAI has launched a new and advanced memory feature for its smart chatbot Grok. With the help of this new feature, Grok will now be able to remember the conversation of users and will be able to give more personal and user-oriented answers while talking to them in the future.
Grok gets a new weapon: Chatgpt and Gemini will compete
After this memory feature is added, Grok is now in a position to directly challenge veteran AI chatbots like Chatgpt and Google Gemini. Chatgpt and Gemini are already famous for giving customized reply based on the choice of users and history. Now Grok has also joined the same league.
How does the memory feature of Grok works?
-
Will remember the user’s conversation: Whenever you take advice on a subject, the chatbot will answer based on your previous questions and behavior.
-
Customization option: Users can see what Grok is remembering.
-
Facility to delete memory: If you want, you can delete any specific memory directly from the chat interface.
-
Data Control and Transparency: It is also possible to close the memory feature through the ‘data control page’ of the settings.
Currently available in beta version
This new feature has been released as a beta version on Grok.com, Grok iOS App and Grok Android App. However, this service is not available in EU and UK at the moment.
