Batting first, Griffin posted a total of 129/10 in 20 overs, powered by V. Pawar’s explosive 43 off 24 balls, alongside R. Sharma’s steady 34 off 33 balls.

In response, Dwarka CA fell short at 119/10 in 19.2 overs, despite a determined effort. The bowlers played a crucial role in Griffin’s win, with Nilkanth Tanpure delivering a disciplined spell of 2/21, while N. Pagare was exceptional, conceding just nine runs and picking up two wickets V. Purkar also contributed with two wickets.

Meri Cricket Club Green secured a massive 96-run victory over Gavali Bandhu Avengers. Batting first, Meri Cricket Club Green posted a strong total of 176/8 in 20 overs, powered by S. Nakka’s brilliant 51 off 41 balls, along with G. Jadhav’s quickfire 40 off 29 balls. In response, Gavali Bandhu Avengers struggled against Meri Cricket Club Green’s lethal bowling attack and were bundled out for just 80 in 13.5 overs.

Hardik Bhat was the standout performer, wreaking havoc with a sensational spell of 5/13 in 3.5 overs. S. Nakka contributed with the ball as well, taking 2/22, while R. Jadhav picked up two wickets for 22 runs.

Royal Fox halt Venom Vipers charge

Royal Fox secured a commanding six-wicket victory over Venom Vipers, successfully chasing down 162 in just 17.1 overs in the Majestic Pro League. The chase was powered by Raja Khan’s explosive 51 off 29 balls, supported by Rehan Khan’s blistering 38 off 20 balls. K. Bawaria played a steady hand with 31 off 31 balls.

Earlier, Venom Vipers set a competitive total of 162/4 in 20 overs, but Royal Fox’s bowlers, led by S. Sharma’s economical spell of 2/10 in 3 overs and Raja Khan’s all-round brilliance with two wickets for 34 runs, ensured a strong finish.

Titan Panthers defeated Strom Breakers by 22 runs in an exciting match. Batting first, Titan Panthers posted 157/5 in 20 overs, with Sandeep Kumar leading the charge, scoring 53 runs off 54 balls. He was well supported by P. Gonekar, who played a blistering knock of 37 runs off 20 balls, while Mubeen Khan contributed 26 runs off 27 balls.

In response, Strom Breakers were bowled out for 135 in 19.1 overs. N. Sindrem was the pick of the bowlers, taking three wickets for 29 runs. Mubeen Khan also shone with the ball, claiming two wickets for 22 runs.

Shree Ganesh Devloli register commanding win

The Janta Raja Chashak 2025, organized by the Thane District Kabaddi Association, entered its second day with high-energy matches at Badlapur. With teams battling fiercely for dominance, the competition saw nail-biting encounters and remarkable performances.

Shree Ganesh Devloli scored a commanding 25-11 win over Rahul Kalyan, while Raj Krida Kulgaon outplayed Om Sai Dwarli (25-20) Janta Raja Chashak 2025, organized by the Thane District Kabaddi Association in Badlapur. Sagar Koliwada dominated Jai Mahlar Mulgoan (24-4), while Jay Bajrang Kharigaon edged past Sai Krushnai Manda Titwala (18-16) in a tight contest. Gavdevi Chinchpada secure a hard-fought 15-11 victory over Raj Krida Mandal Badlapur.

Jai Khandoba Ankharpada delivered a strong 20-7 win against Janta Raja Badlapur. Gavdevi Jambhul overpowered Gavdevi Chinchpada (17-10), while Jay Bajrang Kharigao defeated Warriors Dombiwali (19-14). Aatmaram Dombiwali registered two wins, first against Aai Gavdevi Valivali (21-14) and later against Sagar Koliwada Kalyan (17-7). The closest contest of the day saw Jay Khandoba Ankharpada edge past Shree Ganesh Devloli in a thrilling 19-18 victory.

Sangli dominate

Sangli dominated the day by securing two victories — defeating Pune Gramin (48-30) and Dharashiv (36-29) in the 35th Sub Junior (Girls/Boys) State Championship Selection Trial Kabaddi Tournament 2024-25, organized by the Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association in Nashik Manmad.

Parbhani showcased an outstanding performance, overpowering Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (60-25), while Mumbai Upnagar edged past Palghar (55-48). The match between Nashik City and Jalgaon ended in a thrilling draw (31-31).

Lokmanya S secure a hard-fought victory

The Hinduhruday Samrat Chashak Kabaddi Tournament, organized by the Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association, witnessed an

action-packed Day 3 at Chunabhatti, Mumbai. The competition, running from February 24 to 26, featured thrilling encounters as teams fought for supremacy.

The day kicked off with Lokmanya S securing a hard-fought victory over Hanuman KM (28-22), followed by Pandharinath K.M dominating Jantaraja S.M (29-13). Lokmanya put on a commanding display, crushing Navjivan (36-8), while Navshakti K.M overwhelmed Milind K.M (30-7).

In other matches, Sai Sports outplayed Jai Shankar (19-8), and Utkarsh delivered a strong performance, defeating Chembur K.K (32-14). Owali emerged victorious over Shree Sai (28-14), and Pandharinath K.M continued their winning momentum by overcoming Lokmanya S (23-16). The day concluded with Balveer securing a solid win against Ashvamed (21-12).
