New Delhi: India Yamaha Motor Private Limited (IYM) announced to launch a 10 -year total warranty program on the entire range of its India -made motorcycles and scooters on Thursday to mark its 40 years in India.
The initiative represents a major pillar in Yamaha’s ongoing Premium Brand Strategy, which aims to provide better quality, long -term reliability and complete mental peace to customers across the country.
The new 10-year-old total warranty includes 2-year-old standard warranty and additional 8-year expanded warranties, including engine and electrical components including fuel injection (FI) system.
With this, the Yamaha two-wheelers will now enjoy industry-agronic warranty coverage up to 1,00,000 km for their Hybrid Scooter Range (Ray ZR FI, Faisino 125 FI) and Maxi-Sports Scooter Erox 155 version S up to 1,00,000 km. The motorcycle range (FZ Series, R15 and MT-15) manufactured all over India will be covered up to 1,25,000 km under this total warranty initiative.
To celebrate its success in India, the company is offering a ‘Total Warranty’ program to all new customers for a limited period without any additional cost. This initiative reflects brand’s trust in product quality and commitment to long -term ownership value.
After the initial period, the extended warranty will be available at a minor fee, which will ensure continuous mental peace for customers.
Yamaha’s total warranty program can also be fully transferred to the next owners, which further increases the resale value of the Yamaha two -wheelers and underlines the brand’s trust in its product durability and engineering standards.
