Good news for farmers of Greater Noida and Aligarh. The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yida) is preparing to buy 13,300 acres of land in 41 villages directly. 36 villages of Gautam Budh Nagar and 5 villages of Aligarh are involved in this process.
Yida is planning to build a land bank for development projects, under which the process of purchasing land from farmers will start soon. A budget of Rs 5000 crore has also been proposed for this in the board meeting of the authority.
When the land of the farmers will be acquired, they will also be allotted 7 percent plots for the population. The plots will be allotted with registration of land and plans to develop all basic facilities within one year in the allotted plots.
Yamuna development spread in 6 districts of Agra, Hathras, Muthura, Aligarh, Ralodashahr and Gautam Budhnagar is spread over 6 districts in 6 districts of western Uttar Pradesh. The authority is developing 75,900 hectares of land in 226 villages of Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr in the first phase. In the third phase, a plan for development of Agra and Hathras districts has been prepared, under which the zonal plan of Agra has been prepared and the work of Hathras’s development plan has started.
