Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav assured MPPSC candidates on Sunday that the government is considering their demands with a positive approach.

A delegation of government job aspirants met the Chief Minister in the state capital after ending their four-day-long dharna. The candidates submitted a memorandum demanding reforms to ensure greater transparency in the recruitment process.

The Chief Minister directed the officials concerned to take appropriate steps to redressal the demands of the MPPSC candidates. He reiterated the government’s commitment to providing maximum employment opportunities to youths.

The MPPSC candidates, who were staging a dharna in front of the MPPSC office in Indore for the last four days, called off their protest in the wee hours of Sunday. Around 2000 government-job aspirants had participated in the dharna in support of their demands. On Thursday, two candidates had sat on fast unto death.

Their key demands include showing answer sheets of all exams since PSC-2019 mains exam, release of marksheets, declaring PSC-2023 results and scrapping of 87/13 formula, releasing all exam results on 100 percent basis, holding of pending ITI Principal interview. It is learnt that some of their issues related to demands are sub-judice.
