The plan to make Gorakhpur railway station world class is being done fast. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav reached Gorakhpur on Sunday and inspected the modernization works of the railway station and said that soon passengers will get unmatched facilities.

Along with this, a new terminal is also being built at Gorakhpur Airport, which will provide better connectivity and facilities to the passengers.

Gorakhpur’s cultural heritage will be seen in railway station

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the cultural heritage of the city will also be included in the new building of Gorakhpur railway station.

Passengers will get a comfortable and convenient journey experience

During the review of the ongoing construction works at the station, the Railway Minister also saw the presentation of the entire project and instructed the officials to complete the work fast.

Connectivity of airport and railway station will be better

The Railway Minister also discussed with the officials about Gorakhpur Airport and said that direct connectivity of passengers from the airport to the station will be strengthened.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been advised to propose a new railway station near the airport.
Railway and airport officials have been instructed to work with mutual coordination.
A new master plan is being prepared to make the journey of passengers more convenient.

Before leaving for Bettiah in Bihar from Gorakhpur, the Railway Minister gave strict instructions to the railway officials regarding the problems and needs of the passengers.
