Gorakhpur News: On July 7, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off Bharat Express, the first train of Northeast Railway, at the railway station. Chief Minister Yogi reviewed to make the program successful.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Gorakhpur on Thursday evening. From the airport, he directly reached Geeta Press and then the railway station. He inspected the preparations for the Prime Minister’s program at both the places.

Geeta Press Management and Railway and Administrative Officers gave necessary instructions. After this, the Chief Minister went to the Gorakhnath temple and offered prayers to Guru Gorakhnath. He bowed his head in front of the statue of his Guru Brahmalin Mahant Avedyanath.

As per the proposed programme, Prime Minister Modi reached platform number one of the railway station near the cab-way on July 7 at 3.30 pm. The train was given the green signal from here. A successful trial was conducted on Tuesday morning by flagging off the Vande Bharat train between Gorakhpur and Lucknow.

After hoisting the Indian flag in the van, the Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone of the Rs 500 crore Gorakhpur Junction Redevelopment Project. During this, the Prime Minister can see the development journey of North Eastern Railway including Gorakhpur Junction and the new model of Gorakhpur Junction through the presentation. The railway administration has also prepared to show a two-minute video of the development journey of the North Eastern Railway to the PM.
