Google India has responded to Jasprit Bumrah’s witty comment to an Australian reporter on being asked about his batting skills. The banter happened after end of Day 3 of Australia vs India 3rd Test in Brisbane. when a journalist asked Bumrah for his thoughts on India’s batting performance in the first innings of the third Test while admitting that he may not be the ideal person to comment.

The pacer cheekily replied “It’s an interesting question. But, you are questioning my batting ability. You should use Google and see who has got the most number of runs in a Test over. But, jokes apart. That’s another story.”

Google India responded to Jasprit Bumrah‘s comment with a post on X, stating, “I only believe in Jassi Bhai,” accompanied by a video of Bumrah’s comment.

Jasprit Bumrah, Akash Deep help India avoid follow on

With India at 213-9 starring at a follow-on, Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep have managed to help India avoid it with a gritty unbroken 39-run stand on day four of the third Test at the Gabba in Brisbane. Even as India are 193 runs in arrears, Australia will have to bat again on day 5 in Brisbane after taking the final wicket.

With rains predicted for day 5 as well, Australia face an uphill challenge to force victory and take 2-1 lead in series. According to Accuweather, the cloud cover in the morning will remain only at 97%, while the probability of precipitation is only 25%. However, the probability of rains surges to 90% during the afternoon session, while the cloud cover is 95%.

Australia being a bowler down, with Josh Hazlewood going off the field after sending down only one over put pressure on Starc and Pat Cummins. Hazlewood’s series also looks done as the hosts will likely play Scott Boland in the final two Tests.
