Gold Rate: Gold price again close to Rs 1 lakh per 10 grams, slight fall in silver

On 23 April last month, gold set a new record by touching the level of Rs 1 lakh per 10 grams for the first time. Fresh gold-silver expressions:

Today, 24 carat gold in the country has reached the level of Rs 99,610 per 10 grams. On the other hand, there has been a slight decline of Rs 100 per kg in silver prices. Today the price of silver has come to Rs 98,900 per kg.

Gold prices in various cities:

  • In Delhi, 24 carat gold is at Rs 99,760 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold at Rs 91,460 per 10 grams.
  • In Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai, 24 carat gold is being sold at Rs 99,610 and 22 carat gold at Rs 91,310 per 10 grams.

Fresh silver price today:

Silver is priced at Rs 98,900 per kg in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. International markets are keeping an eye on the ongoing trade talks between the US and China, due to which gold is considered a safe investment in the US markets.

Gold-silver prices in international market:

  • Spot gold increased by 0.1 percent, reaching the price to $ 3,309.39 an ounce.
  • The US gold futures rose 0.3 percent to $ 3,314.20 an ounce.
  • Spot silver fell 0.4 percent to $ 32.37 an ounce.
  • Platinum recorded an increase of 0.5 percent, causing the price to $ 980.62 an ounce.
  • Palladium gold declined by 0.3 percent, leading to $ 973.04 an ounce.
