Gold prices broke all records on 1 February. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is going to present the budget soon. The price of 24 carat 10 grams of gold has crossed Rs 84,000 before the budget. This is the highest level of gold so far. It is expected that the government can increase import duty on gold in the budget. If this happens, the price of gold will increase further. In the last budget, the government had reduced the import duty from 15 percent to 6 percent.

Experts believe that if the interest rates continue to fall and there is uncertainty in the international market, then the prices of gold and silver may rise further.
