World Sleep Day 2025: Nowadays most people have the same complaint: not getting enough sleep. This situation is 59 percent of Indians. About 57% Vitamin B-12 deficiency in Indian corporates
In this survey, 43,000 people including 61 percent of men and 39 percent of women in a total of 348 districts of the country were asked about sleep. He was asked how many nights did you sleep well in the last year? Of these, 15685 people answered this question. 59 percent of the people said that they barely get six hours of sleep.
Most of the people in the survey said that the reason for not getting enough sleep is to go to the bathroom at midnight, 72 percent of the people gave this reason. Other reasons include irregular daily routines, noise, mosquito bites, and sleep disruption due to partner or children. Inadequate sleep invites many diseases. This not only causes fatigue and dark circles, but also has severe and long -term effects. Employees’ functionality is also being affected by insufficient sleep.
Apart from poor sleep, another conclusion is that about 57 percent of Indian men are suffering from corporate vitamin B-12 deficiency. This is mainly applied to vegetarians. Vitamin B-12 is an important nutrient for energy and brain activity in the body. 4,400 persons were included in this study. Of these, 3,338 were male and 1,059 female corporate employees. This rate has also been seen up to 57 percent in women. Therefore, it is necessary to get Vitamin B-12 tested every year. Corporate professionals often do not take nutritious diets due to their highly busy programs, high stress levels and unhealthy food habits.
Dietists say that vitamin B-12 is found in animal products and therefore most vegetarians lack this vitamin. Additionally, excessive intake of processed foods, alcohol and caffeine can reduce the body’s ability to absorb vitamin B-12. Due to its deficiency, there is fatigue in the body.
