Siddharth Khemka, Research Head (Wealth Management) of Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited said:
“We hope that foreign institutional investors (FII) will return due to attractive valuation and economic reform signs in the Indian market, which may continue to move the market.”

Ajit Mishra, Senior Vice President (Research) of Railways Broking Limited said:
“There is no major economic developments at the domestic level, so investors will be focused on march derivative settlement and FII activities. Globally, American markets and fees related developments have to be monitored.”

Market fluctuations signs

There has been a temporary improvement in the US markets after a recent sharp decline.
But the mixed global signals can cause fluctuations in the Indian market.
Investors will also keep an eye on the rupee status against the dollar and the prices of Brent crude oil.

BSE Sensex – A 30 -share Sensex rose 3,076.6 points (4.16%).
NSE Nifty – Nifty rose 953.2 points (4.25%).

Vinod Nair, the research head of Jijit Financial Services, said:
“Investment flows in emerging markets are returning due to reduced risk-free rates and improvement in the dollar index. FIIs have now become pure buying (buyers) instead of selling, which has strengthened the perception of the domestic market.”

Friday: FII bought shares worth ₹ 7,470.36 crore.
